The double qualification marks another significant achievement for Nigerian volleyball, with both teams earning the opportunity to compete against Africa’s top nations after impressive performances in the regional qualifiers.
The qualification also reflects the steady progress of Nigerian volleyball, as both teams continue to improve on the continental stage, with the men’s side currently ranked 52nd in the latest FIVB World Rankings and the women’s team occupying 103rd place globally.
